Stefanie is a long-time resident of the greater Houston area. After graduating from Stratford High School in West Houston, Stefanie attended Austin College in Sherman, Texas, and graduated in 1993 with a major in History. She received a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree, with high honors, from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 1999.

Since that time, Stefanie has worked for over 15 years as a civil litigator on the trial and appellate levels, representing public and private employers in employment litigation and administrative proceedings before the EEOC. She also has extensive experience representing local governmental entities and public officials in cases involving law enforcement, land use, personal injury, and employment discrimination.

Stefanie was admitted to the Texas State Bar in 1999. She is licensed to practice law in Texas, as well as in the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
